Break Press Operator - Gloucester

Shorterm Group are exclusively partnered with a well-known British institution to recruit a Brake Press Operator as part of a new engineering team built from scratch. Based out of their Gloucester site, you will be part of a newly-formed machine shop, responsible for the production of steel parts for assembly and distribution across the UK.

* Brake Press Operators must be able to read and understand detailed blueprints to form
finished products.

* Brake Press Operator must make sure the machines are set up properly, make adjustments
to the machines to control speed, material feed, the path of the shape or bend and
produce a quality product.

* Brake Press Operator performs periodic quality inspection checks on the product output
and visually inspects the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the
next step in the production process.
