Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to our social housing tenants, ensuring their homes are safe, functional, and comfortable. Responsibilities:
*Perform plumbing work related to the construction and repair of social housing units
*Perform routine and emergency plumbing repairs and maintenance for social housing properties
*Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
*Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, including faucets, toilets, sinks, and pipes.
*Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
*Collaborate with other construction professionals and tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
*Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
*Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
*Provide excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a social housing context.
*Must have experience in Part P / qualification in Part P
*Strong knowledge of plumbing techniques, tools, materials, and safety standards.
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
*Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
*Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Must have a certification or diploma in plumbing.
*Experience working in social housing or a similar environment.
*Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
