The main duty of this role is to foster profitable new business prospects for Six Degrees. You will interact with both current clients and potential new customers.
The New Business Sales Director works closely with Six Degrees’ account management teams to identify and cultivate opportunities for our services. You will collaborate with the sales management team to create programs and campaigns aimed at generating leads within our existing managed accounts.
Furthermore, you will partner with external organizations, especially Microsoft, to establish and execute co-selling initiatives.
You will also communicate with the Product Group to convey customer feedback that will improve our service offerings and enhance our value proposition and market entry strategy.
In order to progress your opportunities, you will collaborate with our Solutions Architects and Operations Teams to gather customer needs and ensure that customized solutions are provided in line with the client’s business goals.
To excel as a Business Development Director, you will need to generate leads and identify new business opportunities with current clients, while also qualifying and securing additional business from the existing client portfolio.
In this position, you will negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to enhance profitability, all while fostering and sustaining robust, long-term relationships with clients. Ideally, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in a New Business Development role within the IT sector, as a comprehensive understanding of solution selling is essential.
