Job Description:
Arboriculture Technician *Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
*Salary: £8,923.20 per annum
*Location: Moulton
Join a leading college in Moulton as an Arboriculture Technician. This role offers 14.8 hours per week with the possibility of evening and weekend work. You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality Arboriculture practical lessons and ensuring an excellent learning environment for students.
Day-to-day of the role: *Assist in the preparation of Arboriculture practical lessons.
*Support students during practical activities to ensure they are learning and engaging effectively.
*Maintain all areas to a high standard, ensuring that they are safe and conducive for learning.
*Prepare materials and equipment required for practical classes.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during practical sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Minimum Level 3 qualification in Arboriculture and Forestry.
*Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
*Trained in Small Fell, First Aid at Work + F, and Access to a tree and aerial rescue.
*Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, demonstrating your ability to effectively support both learning and practical activities in an educational setting.
