Are you an experienced Class 1 driver looking for a temporary, night-time driving role in the Sandy area? We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Night Driver to join our logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who prefer to work during the night and want to contribute to a fast-paced and dynamic transport operation.
About the Role: As a Class 1 Night Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across regional routes during the night shift. Your main duties will include:
*Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle to transport freight to various locations.
*Ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries to customers within the designated areas.
*Performing vehicle checks before and after each shift to ensure it is in good working condition.
*Adhering to road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
*Loading and unloading freight where required, and assisting with securing cargo safely.
*Following instructions and planned routes, while being adaptable to any changes or urgent requests.
Key Requirements: *Valid Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
*CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
*Valid Digi-tacho card.
*A minimum of 12 months experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
*Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively.
*Good knowledge of road safety and the highway code.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Previous night-shift experience is an advantage but not essential.
*A flexible, proactive approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing demands.
