Job Overview:
NextGen are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in nurturing and developing young children’s learning and development in a safe and stimulating environment. This position requires a strong understanding of child development principles, creativity, and the ability to engage children through play-based learning.
Roles:
*Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
*Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.
*Observe and assess children’s progress, documenting their development in accordance with early years frameworks.
*Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
*Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
*Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
*A recognised qualification (QTS/PGCE)
*A strong knowledge of Phonics frameworks
*Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
*Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development principles.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues.
*A creative approach to teaching, with the ability to engage children through innovative activities.
*Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children are crucial for success in this role.
