Job Description:
Electrical & Mechanical Fitter
*Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
*Job Type: Full-time
*Salary: Circa £28,000, depending on experience
Reed Engineering and Manufacturing are excited to recruit on behalf of a leading manufacturer in Rugby. We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality engineering and precision, offering a chance to work with cutting-edge technology in a well-established company.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities of the Electrical & Mechanical Fitter:
*Interpret and build from electrical and mechanical drawings, and verbal instructions.
*Install, test, commission, and maintain electrical systems and components.
*Perform mechanical fitting and assembly work to high standards.
*Self-inspect all work for quality compliance and adherence to safety standards.
*Maintain accurate documentation of processes and participate in stock-take duties.
*Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to training apprentices and semi-skilled workers.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Electrical & Mechanical Fitter:
*Proven experience as an Electrical & Mechanical Fitter.
*Strong ability to read and interpret electrical wiring and circuit diagrams, as well as mechanical assembly drawings.
*Proficient in using tools of the trade, including power tools, test equipment, and measuring instruments.
*Knowledge of safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
*Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality products.
