Job Description:
As one of our trusty maintenance team, you’ll keep our Goldthorpe Regional Distribution Centre in tip-top shape and running smoothly.
Reporting and repairing problems, you’ll use your engineering skills to keep a wide range of machinery in full working order. From refrigeration units to the racking that holds pallets, you’ll make sure our centres are ready to handle whatever the business needs from them.
If you have the skills to lead a team of facilities engineers that will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the entirety of the distribution centre...the below role could be just for you !
In this role you will be well versed in PPM, reactive maintenance, contractor management, building regulations and requirements. You will also need to be a strong leader who leads from the front, taking the lead on big projects. It would also be advantageous to have a good understanding of MHE engineering.

About you:
*Extensive warehouse environment experience in building and facilities management
*Planned and preventative maintenance experience
*Minimum NVQ level 3 in electrical mechanical engineering
*Understanding of CDM regulations, Health & Safety, permits to work and SSOW
*Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
*Team player and leader
*Has a can-do attitude and works well under pressure

*Salary: £44,880 Rising to £48,130
*Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
*Working hours: 6am-3pm/7am-4pm/8am-5pm

Please note, the salary displayed is based on a 45 hours per week contract. Aldi are able to also offer 40 hour contracts and in these instances, the salary offered would be pro-rated.
