They are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Chemistry Graduate to join their technical sales team and be responsible for a territory including the North of England, Scotland and NI. This role combines your technical expertise in chemistry with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with new and existing customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
*Use your chemistry knowledge to assist customers in selecting the right products for their specific applications, providing expert advice on technical specifications and product features.
*Identify new sales opportunities, manage customer inquiries, and maintain relationships.
*Conduct product demos, presentations, and training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to showcase the benefits and technical advantages of products.
*Develop and manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
*Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to identify new sales strategies and potential product enhancements.
*Work closely with the technical and customer support teams to resolve customer issues and provide a seamless service experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
*A degree (or higher) in Chemistry (or a closely related field).
*Strong technical knowledge of laboratory products and their applications.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.
*Sales experience is a plus, but not essential—this role could suit someone with a technical background looking to transition into sales.
*Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
*Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
They offer a competitive salary, car, commission structure and more!
