Field Service Engineer Required!
Our client are a leading design and manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning and coating systems, producing various products including precision optics, semi-conductor and medical implant industries globally.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, performing installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced technology products. This position involves global travel, 75% field based & 25% in the office.
Working hours are 8:45am - 5:00pm, the main office is based in Letchworth.
Package:
*£32,00 to £35,000 salary (DOE)

Field Service Engineer - Responsibilities:
*Install and commission equipment at client sites, ensuring it meets the required performance specifications.
*Perform regular maintenance and repairs, diagnosing technical issues with precision.
*Provide technical assistance and training to customers, ensuring they are fully knowledgeable on system operation and best practices.
*Maintain accurate records of services performed, issues encountered, and solutions provided.
*Travel to customer sites as required, which will involve overnight stays and global travel.

Field Service Engineer - Requirements:
*A degree or technical diploma in engineering or a related field is preferred.
*Solid technical background with hands-on experience in mechanical & electrical engineering
*Previous experience in a field service role, ideally within the technology or engineering sectors.
*Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
*A valid driver’s license & passport.
