Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Humanities to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across all aspects of Humanities, including Religious Education (RE), Geography, and History, up to GCSE level. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in RE, Geography, and History.
Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of curriculum changes and educational best practices.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a relevant subject area.
Experience teaching Humanities subjects (RE, Geography, History) to GCSE level.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for lifelong learning.
