Mechanical Engineer
Location: Sevenoaks, UK
Employment Type: Full-Time (Rotational Shifts)

Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise and maintain plant equipment during production shifts, addressing breakdowns promptly.
*Perform both reactive and preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability.
*Collaborate with the maintenance team to execute maintenance schedules and implement plant improvements.
*Adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments for systems like steam, compressed air, and hydraulics.
*Support engineering projects and contribute ideas for operational enhancements.
*Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
*Ensure consistent staffing levels by covering shifts when needed.
Candidate Profile:
*A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., ONC, NVQ Level 3).
*Proven experience in both preventive and reactive maintenance.
*Knowledge of welding, pneumatics, and hydraulics is desirable.
*A safety-conscious mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
*Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment.
