Workshop Engineer | £34k (plus OTE up to £43k) | Northampton/Corby
Van or Van Allowance | Fantastic Benefits | Overtime paid at time and a half
Monday - Friday | 07:30 - 15:30
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Engineer to join a market leading business based in Corby. The successful candidate will join a close knit and thriving team and be responsible for the maintenance, repair and optimisation of machinery and equipment within the business workshop
What they are looking for:
- A technical background from within Materials Handling or similar
- Previous experience and qualifications from a similar role
- Experience working on mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Good attitude with the ability to stay motivated and productive
- A customer focused perspective and approach
- Work independently on sites in a safe manner taking into account both your own and other people’s safety
Key details:
- Diagnosing faults with machinery
- Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose
- Fault Finding
- Perform regular maintenance and inspection
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
- Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles and equipment
