Job Description:
Exciting Opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor - +2PQE Are you a motivated and diligent Solicitor with outstanding technical expertise in the Private Client area, specifically on estate administrations and trust administration? Join our client’s leading and rapidly growing business providing expert advice in selected business sectors for property and HNW business.
Responsibilities include:
*Working independently and supporting business succession transition activities by liaising with other key team members, including accountants and financial advisors.
*Facilitating the delivery of probate and estate administration services to clients, including preparing IHT400 and ancillary schedules, calculating IHT, and liaising with HMRC, HMCTS, and other external bodies and organisations as required.
*Providing expert advice and drafting lifetime trusts, will trusts, and statutory trusts arising through intestacy.
*Taking instructions for and drafting Wills, Deeds of Variation, Deeds of Appointment, Trust Deeds, and Declarations of Trust.
*Facilitating the provision of Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, trusts, and any other Private Client services as required, including liaising with the Office of the Public Guardian and other external bodies and organisations as required
Requirements:
*Qualified Solicitor +2 PQE in the Private Client area
*Member of STEP highly desirable
*Experience of completing probate and estate administration documentation including application of IHT in HNW estates
*A high level of Proficiency in Microsoft office programmes is essential with aptitude to learn new software and systems. Training in additional systems, such as ARKEN and LEAP, will be provided.
Salary: up to £65,000 (doe)
Start date: Immediately
