Job Description:
Website Manager now required for this exceptional distributor of products to the beauty and aesthetics market.
The Role:
They are seeking a Web Merchandiser to enhance their online shopping experience across our B2B and B2C websites. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll play a vital role in optimising site performance, managing content, and driving sales through strategic product placement and user engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage daily site trading activities to optimise the shopping experience and drive sales.
*Update and manage homepage and landing pages to align with promotions, seasonality, and stock levels.
*Ensure all product listings and promotions are accurate, visually appealing, and SEO-optimised.
*Periodically refresh static content, including FAQs, ’About Us,’ and delivery information pages.
*Collaborate with the brand and creative teams to maintain engaging and consistent content.
*Liaise with internal teams regarding stock levels, new product launches, and discontinued items.
*Analyse site metrics (traffic, conversion rates, etc.) and deliver actionable insights.
*Work closely with the Development Team to implement site modifications, resolve bugs, and conduct A/B testing.
*Develop reporting systems to identify and promote slow-moving or short-dated products.
What they’re Looking For:
*Proven experience in a web merchandising role
*Experience within the beauty sector or holds a science degree
*Proficiency with CMS platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify) and configuration of promotions.
*Strong understanding of SEO, web analytics, and e-commerce best practices.
*Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics and product feeds.
*Experience in digital marketing and collaborating with development teams.
*Exceptional project management and communication skills.
