Job Description:
Our client, a Japanese theater company expanding overseas, is looking for a Japanese -speaking Assistant Producer in London.
Job Description:
*Assist the Producer in overseeing the logistics of the production, from planning to execution.
*Coordinate communication between different departments (e.g., cast, crew, technical staff).
*Ensure that deadlines are met and that the production stays on schedule and within budget.
*Handle administrative duties such as managing schedules, booking meetings, and maintaining documents.
*Prepare and send out contracts, calls for auditions, and other necessary paperwork.
*Manage finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking expenses.
*Assist in the development of promotional materials such as posters, flyers, and digital content.
*Coordinate social media strategies and marketing campaigns.
*Liaise with media outlets and handle publicity efforts.
*Work with venue managers to ensure proper logistics for rehearsals and performances.
*Assist with set-up and break-down during rehearsals and performances.
*Ensure that the theater space meets the technical requirements of the production
Qualifications:
*Prior experience in theater production, event management, or a related field is preferred.
*Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
*Excellent communication skills in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Knowledge of theater operations and production processes is a plus.
*Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and basic project management tools.
*Passion for the arts and a commitment to supporting creative professionals.
*Majors in Theater/Drama
