Job Description:
A successful and growing construction related group are seeking to add a new Management Accountant role to their team to specifically support the Managing Director in monthly and yearly reporting of financial information to management and shareholders. 
*Production of accurate and timely management accounts for multiple entities
*Work with the Financial Controller and accounting staff to ensure the integrity of the recording of financial information into Sage
*Act as the business partner to the Managing Director to manage project costs
*Support the completion of CIS returns and overseeing retentions
*Producing annual budgets and rolling monthly forecasts
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts for monthly review (prepayments, accruals, sales control accounts)
*Intercompany recharging and balance reconciliations
*Preparation of year end statutory accounts with the support of external accountants
*Management of year end statutory audits and periodic HMRC audits.

Suitable applicants will ideally be qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA, but will have commercial construction sector knowledge. You should have strong technical accounting ability in both management and financial accounting, as well as being confident with your IT skills in particular MS Excel. You will demonstrable ability of presenting management accounts and financial analysis reports to management and be able to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities. This role has a real opportunity to develop the group’s financial information for the next phase of its growth.
