Looking for a role with a Highstreet Designer?
As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a vital role within a Merchandising team for one brand within the company’s portfolio, providing essential support to your department.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Merchandiser in executing product strategies, range planning, and seasonal forecasting.
• Maintain and analyze sales, margin reports, and spreadsheets; highlight any discrepancies.
• Manage stock levels, critical paths, and supplier deadlines; ensure timely processing and deliveries.
• Verify invoices, produce size-scales, raise purchase orders, and update product data.
• Liaise with suppliers, sales teams, and customers; attend meetings and record minutes.
• Coordinate freight quotes, POs, and cost tracking; handle general office tasks and store visits.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Experience including buying cycle, critical paths, and stock management
• Merchandise Admin Assistant experience
• Accuracy, financial awareness, and understanding of budgets and margins
• Strong commercial, competitor awareness, and organizational skills
• Numerate, effective communicator, and a team player
• Self-motivated with good time management, visual presentation, and the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
