School Business Manager
Newcastle School
Full-Time, Permanent
£30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently supporting a Newcastle School which is a vibrant and inclusive educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment.
We are supporting them in their hunt for an experienced School Business Manager to join our team and contribute to the efficient management of the school’s resources.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the financial management of the school, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
*Manage the school’s administrative functions, including HR, facilities, and procurement.
*Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and school policies.
*Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to support the strategic direction of the school.
*Develop and implement effective systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
*Liaise with external stakeholders, including local authorities and suppliers.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
*Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management.
*Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Relevant qualifications in business management or a related field.
