Your new firm
An independent practice with offices across the Midlands, Staffordshire and Cheshire are seeking an experienced Accounts Semi-Senior to join their Hale office. This practice has been established in the market for more than 40 years and supports a client based across the North West and Staffordshire. Their clients sit within a range of industries including professional services, engineering, tech and contractors and range from owner managed businesses to large overseas groups.
Your new role
As Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for preparation of accounts for a range of clients in industries including professional services, engineering, tech and contractors. These clients will range from owner managed businesses to large overseas groups. Your duties will also include a range of tax and bookkeeping responsibilities as well as communicating with clients and ensuring they receive an excellent service. You will work on a range of accounting software and get a full exposure to all aspects of accountancy.
What you’ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within an accounts team in a general practice, ideally at Accounts Semi-Senior level. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an effective team and have a strong sense of accountability. Ideally you will be currently studying towards an ACA/ACCA qualification. Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £24,000 and £30,000 dependent on experience.
