Job Description:
You’ll be joining a team where every team member contributes to the business success in this Bookkeeper role based on the outskirts of Salisbury. You’ll be working onsite but working hours and full and part time hours are an option. a great, family feel business where every member of the team is supported.
Salary for this role is £33000 for full time hours Monday to Friday - pro rata for part time hours - minimum 3 days a week.
As the Bookkeeper your key responsibilities will include:
*Document and monitor financial transaction details accurately.
*Prepare and file financial documents promptly.
*Raise purchase orders.
*Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
*Collaborate with project managers on project P&Ls.
*Assist with asset and stock management, ensuring accurate records.
*Fact-check accounting data to ensure accuracy.
*Reconcile company accounts regularly.
*Process payroll and track payroll data meticulously.
*Assist with tax payments and returns.
*Work with accountants as needed to ensure compliance
*Manage services accounts and contracts, ensuring timely renewals and updates.
In this role as Bookkeeper you’ll ideally need proven experience as a bookkeeper, finance or accounts administrator as well as:
*Proficient in using Xero and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
*Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
*Strong organizational and time-management skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
