Job Description:
Are you a History Teacher, Geography teacher or other Humanities Teacher looking to secure a post early for January? Would you be interested in joining a well-run Secondary Academy with pupils who behave well and engage with their learning?
We are working alongside a Large Humanities team at a St Albans based Secondary Academy to source upbeat and professional teachers for this inclusive Humanities department. With flexibility on specialism the school is offering permanent contracts across the Main Pay Scale and Upper Pay Scale.
The Humanities team here is huge and are particularly keen to hear from History, Geography or Sociology Teachers with experience or those completing their studies and looking to move onto their ECT years.
*** Humanities Teacher - History, Geography, Teacher, RE Teacher / RS Teacher or Sociology Teacher welcomed
*** Permanent role paid to scale on MPS or UPS, TLR’s available for those looking to take on extra responsibilities
*** ECT Mentors available for those completing a PGCE or looking at Assessment routes.
*** Number of exciting projects at this growing school offering career progression opportunities

*** The ability to teach any Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, the flexibility to offer another Humanities subject to KS3 is also an advantage.
*** Demonstrate strong subject knowledge in your chosen subject(s), create a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour.
*** Full support and development throughout your career is guaranteed with tailored professional development available to support staff of all levels
