Job Description:
GRG are recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm that is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their clients. They are looking for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their litigation department on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a growing firm that is committed to providing a supportive and collaborative working environment.
This is a permanent, full-time position and will require the successful candidate to be based in office, Monday - Friday. Additionally, some flexibility is required to travel across other office locations, so will need to be a UK driving license holder.
The Legal Secretary will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Head of Department and Fee Earners in case preparation and legal matters generally. The successful candidate will ideally have previous litigious experience in a legal environment. There is opportunity to develop within this organisation, so if you are a legal graduate and have internship experience within a law practice, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Audio typing from digital dictation and copy typing
* Use of a case management system
* Dealing with clients in person and via telephone
* Taking messages
* General office duties
* Ensuring compliance with SRA guidelines
Key Skills:
*Previous, recent legal secretarial experience in Litigation is desirable
*Ability to "hit the ground running" from day one
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Attention to detail and accuracy
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
*Hold a relevant degree/qualification in law
*Full UK Driving License
