Job Description:
Alexander Daniels are working with an established business based in Staffordshire to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary basis. As the Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the administration of the Purchase Ledger, Cash Book management and employee expenses.
Daily duties:
*Cash book maintenance for all group bank accounts.
*Cash allocation in ERP system.
*Input into Group cash reporting.
*Bank reconciliations.
*Ledger reviewing, query solving, chasing approvals, and requesting invoices for DD Payments.
*Processing invoices.
*Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and to terms.
*Statement reconciliations.
*Responsible for the timely payment of employee expenses.
*Production of Purchase orders.
Essential requirements:
*2 years experience within a similar role.
*Demonstrate good organisational skills, working both independently and part of a team.
*Work to meet strict deadlines, with accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
*Clear communication skills for dealing with suppliers and internal managers.
*Good understanding of Excel and best business practice.
