Job Purpose
*Support a varied portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
*Undertake audit engagements, including site visits in South Wales
*Run quarterly VAT returns
*Supervise junior auditors, including workflow management, reviewing work, and identifying knowledge gaps
*Lead quality control across engagements, championing service excellence
*Build strong relationships with clients, proactively handling queries and acting as their go-to advisor
*Research and interpret changes to audit and accounting regulations
*Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities

Job Requirements
*AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or part-qualified
*Previous audit experience within practice
*Previous experience in the preparation of statutory accounts
*Strong working knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office
*Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102)
*A hands-on team player who can also work autonomously
*An enthusiastic, can-do attitude towards problem-solving
*Self-motivated and able to manage your own deadlines
*Highly organised, reliable and professional
*Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
*A drive to progress within the firm
