Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join an award-winning care company with a CQC rating of Good and a purpose-built home designed to provide residential, respite, and dementia care. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and a compassionate environment for our residents.
The Role:
The Senior Care Assistant will provide outstanding care and leadership during night shifts. This position requires a commitment to high standards, safety, and mentorship, acting as a guiding presence for care assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
*Mentor & Support: Guide and support care assistants in their roles, ensuring the highest standard of care.
*Care Plans & Risk Assessments: Develop and regularly update individual care plans and perform risk assessments.
*Professional Standards: Adhere to health and social care standards, promoting best practices across all aspects of care.
*Safeguarding: Be vigilant in safeguarding protocols, ensuring the safety and dignity of all residents.
Requirements:
*Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding procedures.
*Compassionate, team-oriented, and reliable with a commitment to excellence in care.
Salary: £13.20 per hour + £16.50 for overtime
Schedule: 2-Week Rolling Rota
*Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
*Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
