Job Description:
Logistics Coordinator required. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join a dynamic team within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee and manage shipping, storage, and dispatch operations while maintaining accurate records and efficient logistics practices. You will collaborate with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and credit control, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Logistics Coordinator - Remuneration
*£30,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on experience)
*Hours: Monday - Thursday, 07:30am - 16:30pm; Friday, 07:30am - 12:30pm
*Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, totalling 33 days per year

Logistics Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:
*Manage all shipping arrangements for UK and international orders.
*Produce accurate export documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
*Liaise with preferred carriers and negotiate rates to ensure cost-effective logistics.
*Ensure prompt dispatch of back orders, coordinating with sales and purchasing teams.
*Monitor incoming goods to ensure timely and accurate booking.
*Implement and improve procedures to expedite back-order dispatch.
*Work closely with sales to resolve delays and keep customers informed of progress.
*Coordinate with credit control for customers with account restrictions.
*Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement solutions in collaboration with purchasing.
*Maintain accurate records and update systems regularly.
*Utilize ERP software (e.g., Navision) for inventory and order management.
*Provide support to the wider team and undertake other tasks as required.
Logistics Coordinator - Required Skills & Experience:
*Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management.
*Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
*High attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
*Proficiency in computer systems, including knowledge of logistics or ERP software (e.g., Navision).
*Experience with export documentation and regulations - highly beneficial.
*Skills in negotiation and managing third-party relationships.
