Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Auto Electrician on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Auto Electrician:
*The wiring of all associated electrical components on commercial vehicles.
*To fault find and repair electrical components on new and old vehicles.
*To carry out electrical maintenance and function checks on new and old vehicles.
*Attend electrical breakdowns of vehicles when required.
*Assist field engineers with technical knowledge when required.
*Liaise with the parts department to ensure the correct parts are ordered.
*Accurate completion of any job cards, time sheets or any other required vehicle documentation.
*Ensure that standards are maintained relative to maintenance/cleanliness of vehicles.
*Ensuring workload is prioritised and deadlines met.
*Comply with health and safety policy and guidance notes, adopting safe methods of working.
*You may be required to perform additional tasks as required by the changing roles in the organisation.
Skills and Qualifications for the Auto Electrician:
*You need to have an engineering background with a vehicular focus – bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail or farm.
*You need to want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.
*Good Electrician background.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Relevant Electrician qualification is desirable.
