Job Description:
An Accounts Assistant is sought to join a thriving industrial and manufacturing team, supporting the Accounting & Finance department with a variety of tasks, mainly in Leeds.

Description
*Assist in the preparation of financial reports
*Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
*Process invoices, record payments, and track expenses
*Support the month-end and year-end close process
*Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
*Collaborate with the Financial Controller and Accounting team on annual audit
*Manage financial documentation and data entry tasks
*Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
*An education background in Accounting or Finance
*Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software
*Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
*Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
*Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial records
*Good organisational skills for maintaining financial records and managing deadlines
Job Offer
*An hourly rate between £15 - £18
