Location: Dunstable, UK
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4-day work week (full-time), with 3 consecutive days off
Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished and dedicated Production Manager to join our esteemed team in Dunstable. Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight: Lead and manage daily production activities to ensure the achievement of targets, adherence to schedules, and fulfillment of quality standards.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to the production team, fostering a collaborative work environment and supporting staff development through training and mentoring.
Quality Assurance: Maintain stringent quality control measures, ensuring all products meet regulatory standards and company specifications.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate production processes to identify areas for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure the timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce company safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections, ensuring a secure and compliant workplace environment.
Performance Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators, prepare detailed reports for senior management, and recommend actionable improvements based on data analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a production management or supervisory capacity, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively, with a focus on driving productivity and employee engagement.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of production planning, process optimization, and equipment maintenance.
Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
