The Role
We’re seeking a proactive Business Developer to cover the UK, focusing on expanding our Conventional and Organic product lines within the human food market. This role offers variety, growth potential, and the chance to truly drive business development. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our expansion efforts and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
*Identify and prospect new business opportunities
*Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients
*Prepare, present, and follow up on customer quotes
*Oversee order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
*Manage customer queries, from supply to payment issues
*Represent JKT Foods at trade events and exhibitions
*Gather and analyse market and competitor insights
*Maintain our CRM system with up-to-date customer information
*Consistently meet and exceed sales targets with strong negotiation skills
*Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities

The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a proactive, customer-focused individual who excels in sales and business development. The ideal candidate will bring or be:
*3-4 years of product sales experience (food industry experience preferred)
*Buyer or purchasing experience – advantageous
*Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
*A motivated, independent, and organised approach
*Willingness to travel as needed
*A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset
*Educated up to degree level
