Duties
*Meet with clients to discuss their legal needs and provide advice on family law matters.
*Handle a caseload of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and financial settlements.
*Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support case preparation.
*Draft, review, and file legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, and court orders.
*Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
*Negotiate settlements and agreements between parties to resolve disputes amicably.
*Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and developments.
*Work closely with other legal professionals, including barristers, paralegals, and legal assistants.
*Ensure all legal activities comply with current laws and regulations.
*Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and case details.
*Stay updated on changes in family law and participate in professional development opportunities.
Experience
*Must be a qualified solicitor with a valid practicing certificate.
*Extensive experience in family law.
*Strong written and verbal communication skills.
