Job Description:
Client Manager /Accountant, Harrogate, £competitive
Due to continued growth, an independent Chartered Accountancy practice with offices in Harrogate and Leeds is recruiting for a qualified Client Manager to join their team. This position would suit either an experienced client manager or someone who has recently qualified and seeking a position with career progression and the opportunity to manage your own clients.
They can offer full or part time hours and the opportunity to work from either office, Harrogate or Leeds.
Their Leeds offices have onsite parking
Duties
*Accounts preparation
*Preparing corporation and business tax computations
*Managing a portfolio of clients, interacting with them on a regular basis
*Attending client meetings
*Prepare and understand budgets for clients
*Technical awareness for accounting and tax changes that would impact clients
*An ability to prepare management accounts and financial models in excel
*Training junior members of the team
*Assisting with remuneration/dividend planning
*Assisting with statutory audits as required on occasion
*Assisting with ad-hoc projects and accountancy work when required
Requirements
· Practice Accountancy experience, ideally ACA or ACCA qualified
· Experienced with completing year-end accounts
Excellent communication skills
