Description
*Develop, maintain, and monitor production plans to meet demand
*Coordinate with production, scheduling, suppliers as required to ensure timely delivery of products.
*Analyse and report on supply chain performance and implement improvements as needed
*Troubleshoot any issues that may arise within supply chain planning.
*Play an active role in inventory management and control
*Work with Procurement to ensure the best suppliers are secured.
*Contribute to the development of supply chain strategies.
*Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Profile
A successful ’Production Planner’ should have:
*Ideally a relevant qualification with Supply Chain.
*Proven understanding in a production planning role within the FMCG industry
*Exceptional organisational and planning skills
*Strong communication and team collaboration abilities
*Proficient in using planning systems
*Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*Profession in the use of Excel.
