An excellent and reputable law firm in Stamford, Lincolnshire are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Legal Cashier to join our small but effective team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions within a legal environment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the firm’s financial records and supporting the overall financial operations.
Responsibilities
*Process accounts payable transactions efficiently and accurately.
*Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
*Prepare and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
*Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
*Liaise with clients and vendors regarding payment queries and discrepancies.
*Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal policies related to financial transactions.
Requirements
*Proven experience in a similar role, within a legal or professional services environment.
*Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, or Sage is highly desirable.
*Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
