Class 1 Driver Days
Salary: £35,510.28 PA
£2,959.16 per month
£136.58 per day
Shift: Mon - Fri, 50hrs/wk
Overtime: Enhanced rate
Contract: Permanent

Main duties/ responsibilities:
*Operating commercial vehicles
*Load and unload goods
*Manual work
*Making sure loads are safely secured
*Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
*Carrying out basic routine maintenance
*Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any documentation
*Following the compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable
Technical Skills:
*A valid HGV license
*Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
*Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
*Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
*Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices
The successful candidate will:
*Be present with a Positive and Can-do attitude
*Be flexible and reliable
*Minimum 2 years experience of driving C1
*Have great communication skills
*Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 10 weeks)
*Provide a full 5-year checkable history
*Hold a Clean Driving Licence (If the position requires it)
*Hold valid DQC and up to date CPC
