Accounts Assistant

We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for recent college or university graduates with a qualification in accounting or individuals at a junior level seeking to gain an AAT. The position involves a variety of accounting tasks and offers a great opportunity to develop professional skills in a supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage multiple bank accounts and handle card payments.
*Deposit cheques and process payments along with fee earner postings.
*Prepare and deal with completion statements.
*Conduct bank reconciliations and review bills and credit notes.
*Assist with month-end procedures.
*Support compliance with AML regulations through client’s source of funds checking.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A qualification in accounting from college or university, or some junior level experience in accounting.
*Interest in pursuing an AAT qualification.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
