Job Description:
This role is for a Procurement Governance Manager who is driven and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate should be experienced in managing procurement processes within the public sector, preferably within the NHS.

Description
*Establish and manage procurement governance frameworks
*Support the Category Managers with Audit & Governance responsibilities and future audits
*Monitor procurement processes to ensure compliance with regulations
*Develop and execute procurement strategies
*Oversee tendering and contract management processes
*Train and guide procurement staff on governance processes
*Collaborate with other departments to improve procurement policies
*Prepare procurement reports and presentations for senior management
*Promote a culture of continuous improvement in procurement practices
Profile
A successful Procurement Governance Manager should have:
*Ideally be CIPS Level 4 or higher
*Experience in the public sector, preferably within the NHS
*Excellent understanding of procurement regulations and standards including the new Procurement Act
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
