Job Description:
Job Title: Senior Asylum & Review Housing Options Officer
Location: Rugby
Hours per Week: 37 hours
Rate of Pay: £27 P/H (Umbrella)
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Asylum & Review Housing Options Officer to join the team at Rugby Borough Council. This role has the opportunity for extension beyond the 3 month contract.
Main Duties:
*Assess and review housing options for individuals seeking asylum and vulnerable residents, ensuring all recommendations are in line with council policies and regulations.
*Handle complex cases, providing clear guidance on housing rights, homelessness prevention, and support pathways.
*Conduct thorough reviews of decisions made within the housing options service, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
The Candidate Will Have:
*Experience in assessment and review of section 202 (required)
