We are currently recruiting dynamic Nursery Assistants for ad-hoc, short-term, and long-term positions to support our schools in the Blackpool area from January 2025! Our schools are seeking qualified Teaching Assistants and nursery staff to provide essential support to the nursery on both a day-to-day and long-term basis in the upcoming academic year. Familiarity with Read Write Inc. phonics and, if possible, continuous provision would be beneficial for those interested in pursuing long-term opportunities at this school. These positions offer flexibility, with options for daily cover, short-term commitment (typically 6 weeks or less) or a long-term arrangement (exceeding 12 weeks or one term). Your schedule will be tailored to your availability and preferred hours. Positions are temporary within the hours of Monday - Friday, 8:30-3:30 at £13-£14.50/hour.
Responsibilities:
*To provide in-class support for either the whole class-identified individual students or small groups of students (e.g. 4-5 students).
*Under the direction of a class teacher, SENCO, to develop and lead small group work.
*Under the direction of the class teacher, to assist and support in upholding standards of behaviour across the class.
*To assist in delivering and producing teaching and learning materials for students, including differentiating the materials.
*To provide regular feedback to the class teacher and to the SENDCo or the relevant line manager.
*To support the teacher with setting up the class including the daily activities, ensuring that continuous provision is available, display boards, managing pupil journals and workbooks etc.

Essential requirements:
*Relevant qualifications (L2/3 TA etc.)
*High knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
*Classroom experience.
*Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
