Your new position:
As Systems Application Engineer will be a lead role and will see you embedded with the Programme Team.
You will play a key role in overseeing the design, build, test, and delivery of Human Capital Management (HCM) and/or Financials processes within their transformation programme.
We are recruiting for three Systems Application Engineers:
*HCM Specialist
*Financials Specialist
*Generalist with Cross-modular knowledge
Key Responsibilities:
*Governance & Oversight: Work with the Programme team and Systems Integrator (SI) partner to provide hands-on governance across the design, build, test, and delivery of HCM/Financials processes.
*Requirements Documentation: Lead system requirements documentation to analyse process flows and create Low-Level Logical Design artefacts, Impact Assessments, and Privacy/Data Protection Impact Assessments.
*Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, third-party suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and alignment of requirements.
*Quality & Compliance: Continuously improve system setup, testing, and design processes to meet quality standards and programme governance.
*Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams such as Customer Services and Training, as well as other system end users.
*Capacity & Resourcing: Work with the Capacity Planning Manager and Product Development Leads to align resources with programme priorities.
*Feasibility Studies & Workshops: Lead or participate in feasibility studies and workshops for the implementation of new or upgraded systems.
What We’re Looking For:
*Workday Cloud expertise in HR, Payroll, Finance, Workforce Planning, and/or Analytics & Reporting.
*Proven leadership experience in complex, multi-client ERP environments.
*Strong experience in leading system documentation, design, development, testing, and implementation of Cloud/SaaS-based enterprise systems and applications.
*Strong project management and change management skills.
*Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
*Previous experience with Oracle ERP (e-Business or Fusion) for TOM mapping, data migration, and integration activities will be advantageous.
*Familiarity with PL/SQL, JavaScript, and BI Publisher.
*Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Agile and ITIL.
*Knowledge of integration components such as PenServer and HMRC.
