Management Accountant
Central London / Hybrid | International Corporate Services business | £60-65,000 + benefits
This dynamic International Corporate Services business is looking for a Qualified Accountant to work as a Management Accountant in its busy central finance function, to lead the reporting of the corporate accounts and subsidiaries in the group. Key tasks include:
*Reporting to the Group CFO and taking ownership of the month end processes and monthly reporting.
*Consolidating company cashflows, monthly management accounts and budgets / forecasts.
*Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the Group and oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring all compliance issues are met.
*Ensure the company financial systems and processes are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth.
*Process payments through online banking.
*Lead and mentor a team of four in the reporting team.
*Liaise with auditors and provide information and analysis as required.
Key traits that the successful candidate will have include:
*Qualified ACCA/CIMA with post qualification experience.
*Proven leadership and team motivation / coaching skills.
*Excellent written & oral communication.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Knowledge of sage accounting and strong excel skills.
*Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Strong interpersonal skills and a ’can do’ attitude.
