Job Description:
A global market leading technology business are seeking a technically strong Senior Accounting Manager to ensure compliance with EMEA regulatory accounting standards, statutory filings, and selected direct tax requirements. Operating across multiple countries, this role demands sharp financial acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
*Oversee compliance with EMEA statutory accounting and regulatory requirements.
*Manage and coordinate audit processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely filings.
*Ensure alignment between IFRS and local GAAP for accurate financial reporting.
*Lead the preparation and review of monthly and annual management accounts.
*Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
*Collaborate with professional advisors and tax teams to deliver precise, timely tax filings.
*Drive budget planning, variance analysis, and cross-functional coordination.
*Implement strategic projects, including:
*Group transformation: restructuring over 30 legal entities through dissolutions and mergers.
*Treasury optimization: implementing capital restructuring and loan repayment solutions.
Person Requirements:
*Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP: To ensure accurate alignment and reporting.
*Regulatory and statutory compliance expertise: Deep understanding of EMEA regulatory frameworks and filing requirements.
*Audit management experience: Ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver audits across multiple jurisdictions.
*Stakeholder management: Comfortable working with professional advisors, tax teams, and cross-functional departments.
