Job Title: Internal Import/Export Sales
Location: Rochester, Kent
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 + bonuses (Dependent on experience)
Start Date: January 2025

Key Responsibilities:
*Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through regular contact and follow-ups.
*Sales Support: Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, prepare sales reports, and manage sales documentation.
*Order Processing: Handle customer orders, ensure they are processed accurately and efficiently, and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery.
*Quotations and Pricing: Prepare and send quotations to customers, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive pricing strategies.
*Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
*Product Knowledge: Keep up to date with the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
*Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or complaints from customers regarding orders, deliveries, or products.
*Documentation: Manage import/export documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and other shipping documents.
*Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, finance, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
*Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
*Computer literate
*Strong customer service skills
*Experience in shipping
*3+ years’ experience in Freight Forwarding
