This role is ideal if you aspire to gain experience in SEN or have career gaols to become a Youth Worker, Probation/Prison Officer, Psychologist, Therapist or SEN Teacher.

We are seeking a caring and dedicated Behaviour Buddy to join our team in Bexhill-On-Sea. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide essential support to children with unique challenges, including autism, ADHD, and behavioral issues, helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered.

Responsibilities of a Behaviour Buddy:
*Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex needs and help, students understand instructions.
*Assist in implementing individual learning and, support plans.
*Support children during social activities and outings.
*Encourage communication and manage behaviour.
*Work alongside the teacher and SEN team to create a positive learning environment.
*Prepare and provide learning materials.
Requirements of a Behaviour Buddy:
*Impose patience and understanding.
*Have an understanding with challenging behaviour.
*Always be adaptable in any give situation.
*Be able to develop strong and positive relationships with children.
*Committed to working as part of a team.
