Position: Associate Director of Insights and Analytics
Location: London, Hybrid
Salary: £95,000
Are you an experienced leader in data and analytics with a passion for driving strategic decision-making and business improvement through actionable insights? Our client, a leading organisation in the health and professional services sector, is seeking a visionary Associate Director of Insights and Analytics to lead the transformation of their data function and shape the future of decision-making across the organisation.
About the Role
As the Associate Director of Insights and Analytics, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring data-driven decision-making is at the heart of achieving the organisation’s strategic priorities. Reporting to the executive team, you will drive the development and execution of a comprehensive data and analytics strategy.
This pivotal role involves refining and growing an established Data and Analytics Department, currently undergoing significant transformation. You’ll create a clear structure, foster a strong team culture, and develop a roadmap to establish a cutting-edge function that delivers insights, business intelligence, and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and deliver the organisation’s data and analytics strategy, aligning with business needs and objectives.
*Oversee the management and growth of the Data and Analytics Department, establishing clear structures, roles, and ways of working.
*Provide expertise to enhance data governance, quality, and system integration, working collaboratively with the IT Department.
*Define and drive the Data & Analytics Transformation Programme, partnering with key stakeholders to prioritise initiatives from concept to value.
*Develop and implement modern data analytics tools, ensuring insights are delivered in user-friendly formats that influence decision-making.
*Manage the department’s financial responsibilities, ensuring budgets are adhered to and cost-saving measures are realised, including decommissioning legacy systems.
*Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion while promoting organisational values and respecting all stakeholders.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will be:
*A strategic leader with a proven track record of developing and executing data and analytics strategies at an organisational level.
*Experienced in building and leading high-performing teams in dynamic and transformational environments.
*Proficient in data governance, quality control, and modern analytics tools and platforms.
*Adept at influencing and collaborating with executive-level stakeholders to embed data-driven decision-making.
*Financially astute, capable of managing budgets and delivering cost efficiencies.
This is a great opportunity to join a Public Sector organisation and help lead their Analytics and Insights functions. Paying £95,000 per annum, with good company benefits. Hybrid working of 2 days per week out of their head Office in London.
