Social Worker – South East England
Level 1, 2 & 3 Opportunities | Full-Time | Competitive Salary

About the Role
As a Social Worker, you’ll work collaboratively to provide services under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding children, promoting welfare, and supporting families to become more self-reliant.
Responsibilities will include: *Assessing children’s needs and creating effective, timely plans.
*Delivering interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
*Preparing reports for court and various professional settings.
*Engaging families with advice and support to encourage positive outcomes.
*Maintaining accurate records and data in line with organisational standards.
*Attending team meetings and multi-agency discussions as required.
*Participating in supervision, training, and appraisal to continuously enhance your professional practice.
What We’re Looking For
We’re recruiting for three levels:
Level 1 (Grade 9 – Entry/ASYE):Registration with Social Work England.Recently qualified or completing your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).Level 2 (Grade 10 – Social Worker):End of ASYE or equivalent proven experience.A track record of delivering high-quality assessments and plans.Level 3 (Grade 11 – Experienced Social Worker):Substantial experience in social work, including mentoring or supervising less experienced staff. Progressing towards or holding a Practice Educator qualification.
Skills and Attributes *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Proficiency in IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
*A proactive approach to safeguarding and supporting children.
*Knowledge of statutory responsibilities and frameworks.
Additional Requirements *Access to a car and the ability to travel across the county as needed.
*Willingness to work in a range of settings, including courts and community locations.
*Commitment to the organisation’s behaviours and values.
