Job Description:
We are delighted to be working with this multi-award-winning property lender based in North West London. Due to tremendous growth, they are now looking to add an additional Internal Business Development Manager to their sales team.
About the Internal Business Development Manager role
The team you will be joining has received industry awards for service excellence so be prepared to maintain this level and work alongside many leading lending professionals. You will report into the Managing Director (Sales) and work closely with the external sales team on a day-to-day basis but will also be encouraged to discuss cases through with the credit team as an internal part of the team.
Main Purpose of Role
To provide administrative support to the external sales team and assist in delivering excellent service across the department, and to the company’s brokers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
*Proactive in following up indicative terms and AIPs (Agreement in Principle) with brokers/customers
*To assess & reply to enquiries received via telephone & online channels
*Provide accurate indicative terms or outline accurately as to why case has been declined
*To submit accurate AIP submissions to credit for approval
*To package & submit new applications to the CA team (Credit Analyst Team) ensuring online ID & other documents are received
*To support the External Sales Team with enquiries / AIPs and assist with other matters which may arise while out of office
*To assist CA team with valuation & solicitors quotes, including seeking alternative/best quotes
*Source and engage with new brokers via outbound telephone calls
*Keep data up-to-date on internal systems
*Undertake project and ad-hoc pieces of work at management request
Abilities and Experience
*Competent with Outlook, Excel, Word
*Minimum 2 years working in Financial Services
*Good written & verbal communication skills
*Ability to work under pressure & meet quick timescales
*A Degree is preferable but not essential.
