A growing firm in the East of England, known for providing excellent legal advice to a diverse range of individuals, institutions, and executives, is looking for an Accident Executive to join their Personal Injury Team. This team deals with Uninsured Loss Recovery under a Legal Expenses Policy, handling losses incurred following non-fault road traffic accidents.
The Role:
The role involves recovering uninsured losses and negotiating liability based on the principles of the law of negligence. You will manage your own case-load, which will gradually build up to around 500 files. Responsibilities include:
*Dealing with incoming post.
*Handling a high volume of telephone calls (both incoming and outgoing).
*Responding to and sending a high volume of emails (they are a paperless team).
*Letter writing and drafting documents.
*Considering evidence from different sources.
*Making judgements and decisions relating to liability.
*Liaising with clients and progressing matters effectively and efficiently.
*Dealing with client queries and complaints.
*Maintaining professionalism and competence in all client and third-party interactions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have:
*3 A levels or equivalent.
*Good organizational skills.
*Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
*Keyboard skills and accurate data entry.
*Strong team-playing skills.
*Integrity and honesty in their work.
*Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach.
*A courteous and efficient telephone manner.
*Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to display empathy to clients.
