About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior to join a dynamic audit team in Oxford. This is a permanent role, available on a full-time or part-time basis, with hybrid and flexible working options to fit your lifestyle.
 
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead complex and diverse audit assignments across multiple sectors, collaborating with managers and partners as needed.
*Prepare audit files, conduct audit planning, and manage or assist with fieldwork.
*Allocate tasks, supervise junior team members on audits, provide training, and review their work.
*Deliver high-standard audit assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines.
*Oversee and review work completed by junior staff members.
*Utilize accounting software to prepare accurate reports for clients, managers, and directors.
*Prepare statutory accounts and finalize them under the supervision of a line manager.
*Compile corporation tax computations.
*Stay updated on technical and industry developments to ensure top-quality service.
*Assist with service pricing and support new client proposals.
*Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
*Develop technical knowledge through hands-on training and experience.

About You:
*ACCA/ACA qualified or close to qualification.
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience in UK audit practice, with some exposure to accounts work.
*A degree (2:1 or higher) or a strong A-Level record (A, B, B or above).
*Familiarity with Xero, Sage, Caseware, and CCH software is advantageous.
*Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Detail-oriented with strong IT skills, particularly in Excel.
*Positive, proactive, and confident in building relationships.
*Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of output.
*A collaborative team player who is also self-motivated and adaptable.
